Healthcare Corner Organization:

Friend Family Health Center is a non-profit organization that has been providing primary and preventive health care services to the vulnerable and medically underserved populations in the heart of Chicago’s Southeast and Southwest sides since 1997. In 1998, FFHC became a federally qualified health center and soon after expanded its services to other Chicago’s communities. Throughout its tenure, FFHC has continued to provide primary health care services to its target population in a manner that is accessible, affordable, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate.  Direct services include: medical care; health prevention; well child services; immunizations against vaccine-preventable diseases; screening for elevated blood lead levels; communicable diseases and cholesterol; and family planning services.
